Welcome to the new TPISuitcase!

About the Knowledge Base

All of us here at Travel Planners International are so excited to provide you with this simple-to-use, easy-to-find Knowledge Base of everything TPI Suitcase.

Within this Knowledge Base, you'll be able to find most of the frequently-asked questions that all advisors have about how to use the software.

About TPISuitcase

We hope you will be as excited about this new version of TPISuitcase as we are!  We've heard your feedback and have made some immediate changes to help with the advisor experience.  Many more changes are coming in future months, so be sure to check your Notifications bell in TPISuitcase for more information as it becomes ready!

Updates We've Made

Your feedback over the past two years has been crucial in helping us to know what pain points you've been experiencing so far with the technology.
We heard you, loud and clear!

Here are just a few of the things we've fixed in the initial launch, with so much more to come!

Grammar and Punctuation

We've corrected a lot of the confusing issues by ensuring that all grammar and punctuation is accurate.  See a typo?  Let us know in the Feedback page in TPISuitcase!

Leads are still Leads.
Contacts are now Customers.
Suppliers/Vendors/Partners are now Partners.
Quotes & Invoices are now Reservations with a Quote & Invoice status.
Reservations may have one or more Bookings within it.

Cities

We've opened the Cities field up so that you can type any City, Town, or Village name in.

Relationships

Most people travel with someone else.  Most people that travel together have an existing relationship of some kind, whether it be parent, spouse, child, or even co-worker.  We've enhanced this functionality so that you only have to enter the relationship in once - Suitcase will do the rest!
Simply edit your Customer, add a Relationship, indicate who the relationship is with, and the counter-relationship will be added to the other person.
eg.  John is married to Marsha.  The advisor adds a Relationship entry to John, relating to Martha as her husband.  Martha will also be given an entry on her record that she is the wife of John.

We've also streamlined these relationships based on the customer's gender.  John can't be Marsha's aunt and so relationships are filtered based on gender.

No gender?  No problem!  the list will be wide open for you to select any relationship you like!

Other gender?  Also not a problem!  We've added neutral relationships, like Spouse, Significant Other, Partner, Child, Parent, and more!

Passport Information

Isn't it annoying to enter something you've already entered before?  We know it is!  That's why we've made the system easier to use than ever by auto-populating information that you've already entered.
For example, if you've added a Gender of Female to Marsha Smith and a Birthday of January 17th, 1932, these fields will be automatically entered when you add a new Passport entry for Marsha!

Driver's Licenses

Domestic travelers don't need Passports in order to fly - that's why we've added the ability for you to add in the customer's Driver's License details!  As an added bonus, the Calendar will remind you both of the expiry date you enter, plus a six-month-in-advance "Expiration Warning" so that you have more than enough time to alert your customer and get their new information before they fly!

Travel and Payment Statuses

As the reservation is going through its lifecycle, we've added statuses for both Travel and Payment - this is to allow you to see who still owes money on their reservation, and how much.  Plus, who is traveling and when?  Is Travel approaching?  Has the customer returned? Yes, yes, and yes!  All of these are located in your Travel Statuses page under Reservations!

Auto-Populating Dates for Faster Entry

Creating a new Booking is even easier than before - no more navigating calendars to try to enter dates for when your customer is picking up that car or going on that flight - we already know based on the Start and End dates you've entered onto the reservation.  We're filling that in for you, so that you don't have to do extra work!

Stay Tuned For More!

These are just a very small few of the major changes that have been added to the new TPISuitcase, with loads more to come in the near future.
We appreciate each and every one of you for helping us to remain the #1 Host Agency advisors want to be a part of!
